SID Gets its First Award Of Excellence

6^th March 2010 became one of milestone day for Society For Integrated Development (SID). SID got its first award of excellence for doing outstanding work in field of Agriculture, Community Development and Microfinance. Birsa Agriculture University (BAU), Kanke, Ranchi, Jharkhand one of repudiated university gave this award to SID. This award was presented by Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Jharkhand government Sri Mathura Prasad Mahto on the opening ceremony of AgroTech Mela 2010 organized by BAU. Sri Mahto gave a certificate of excellence, memento and Shawl to Chairman of Society For Integrated Development (SID), Sri Amit Kumar Sinha and praised the work of SID. While this ceremony Vice Chancellor of BAU Sri N.N Singh and other Department heads of BAU and Faculty members were there.

Chief Minister of Jharkhand Sri Sibu Soren visited Floriculture Center at Dhanbad

Today on 04/02/2010 ( 4 feb 2010) Chief Minister of Jharkhand Sri Sibu Soren visited Floriculture Center at Gobindpur, Dhanbad. He arrived floriculture center at 4 pm. State agriculture and animal husbandry minister Sri Mathura Prasad Mahto was also with him. SHG members welcomed CM with traditional way of arti and given a flower bouquet to both CM and agriculture minister. Chief Minister visited both polyhouse located at floriculture center. First he visted Gerbera polyhouse and then Rose polyhouse. He was very impressed with the quality of Gerbera flowers. In rose polyhouse CM Sri Soren asked the utility of bud nets and he was surprised with the quality of Rose. Deputy Commissioner of Dhanbad Sri Ajay Kumar Singh and Chairman of Society For Integrated Development (SID) Sri Amit Kumar Sinha explained the whole project to Sri Sibu Soren and Sri Mathura Prasad Mahto. After that Sri Soren donated a passenger auto rikshaw to Gobindpur Flower Producer Company Ltd. for carrying SHG members from their village to center. Chief Minster interacted with SHG members and asked them about their income and possibility of the project. During this visit From SID Chairman Sri Amit Kumar Sinha, Secretary Sri Vivek Kumar and District Project Coordinator Sri Chardrashekhar Pandey was there. Here are few photos..
