6th March 2010 became one of milestone day for Society For Integrated Development (SID). SID got its first award of excellence for doing outstanding work in field of Agriculture, Community Development and Microfinance. Birsa Agriculture University (BAU), Kanke, Ranchi, Jharkhand one of repudiated university gave this award to SID. This award was presented by Honorable Minister of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Jharkhand government Sri Mathura Prasad Mahto on the opening ceremony of AgroTech Mela 2010 organized by BAU. Sri Mahto gave a certificate of excellence, memento and Shawl to Chairman of Society For Integrated Development (SID), Sri Amit Kumar Sinha and praised the work of SID. While this ceremony Vice Chancellor of BAU Sri N.N Singh and other Department heads of BAU and Faculty members were there.
