Donate your used or not in use Mobile Phone (Working Condition) for unreached poor rural villagers.

Society For Integrated Development (SID) is a registered NGO working in various fields of development in various districts of Jharkhand State. We are mainly focus upon overall rural development on grass root level. As you know Jharkhand is one of most poor tribal state of India. Situation of rural Jharkhand is worst. Lots of villages are still far behind from basic development process. Communication is one of vital problem we are facing during our work. Easy and fast communication is always helpful in fasten the development work. Mobile phones are one of fastest communication system which plays vital role in our day to day life. We have recognized the valuable use of mobile phones in our rural development work. Due to poverty, villagers of our working areas are not able to buy a mobile phone. But with the help of Mobile phones villagers can connect themselves from rest of world.

As we all know in this fast changing technology and world, users who can afford, keep on changing mobile handset for different reasons. And nowadays handsets are having no resale value and these handsets are almost dumped as electronic scraps.

But those scrap mobile handsets are very valuable for us. We can provide those handsets to poor rural villagers. Whole Jharkhand has almost been covered by mobile communication either by CDMA or GSM service. At first phase we want to connect our NGO office with 20 villages via mobile phones. Idea is, we will provide mobile connection with lifetime incoming free facility to each of 20 community centers located in various villages of our working area. But we are not able to afford to buy mobile handsets. As I guess lots of you must be having mobile handset with no use. But those not in use handsets are very useful for us. We can speed up our work with those handsets.

There is an appeal for Society For Integrated Development (SID) kindly donate us those not in use Handset. We need only 20 Handset at first phase. But Handset must be in working condition with charger. Your scrap can change lives of many. Kindly donate.
